1 Samuel 1:26-26

Sunday November 13, 2011 was a very special day for our family.  We dedicated our 3 sweet baby boys to the Lord at church. As the verse says above:

  - and she said to him, “Pardon me, my lord. As surely as you live, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the LORD. I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.  So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD.” And he worshiped the LORD there.   1 Samuel 1:26-28 NIV

If you have read my story you know that getting pregnant has never been easy for my husband and I. So I feel tremendously blessed to have four beautiful healthy happy boys that the Lord has blessed me with. William & I wanted to dedicate our three latest blessings to the Lord. I feel so blessed that he would trust me with not one but three new baby boys.

As with any special occasion the attire is very important! When Willie was dedicated he wore William’s dedication outfit.

So since he had such a special outfit I wanted the boys to have their own special outfit. I decided to make their outfits. Knowing my limits I ordered them each the shirt to wear underneath which, my M-I-L got for the boys along with sweet little socks with crosses on them , and a beautiful blanket with their name and dedication date on it.  I was a little nervous but I am so glad that I made them because I LOVE them and the boys looked precious in them.

(I know it looks like Drake’s pant legs are two different lengths it is because I had rolled them under when I put it on Drake and one leg came unrolled. )

Anyway, I wanted the boys to have to option to use their outfits for their sons, but I wanted to monogram them so I decided to make them little bibs.

Since there were three babies all three pastors participated in the dedication ceremony.

It was such a sweet service.  Afterwards we headed back to our house for a celebration lunch.  All in all I think everyone had a wonderful time.

Here a few pics from the day:

I am so glad that the day went so smoothly and we got to share this special occasion with our wonderful family!

Halloween 2011

Yes I know Halloween was 8 days ago but I going to pull the triplet card and say that I have been crazy busy! Which is TRUE!! I am currently trying to prepare for the boys Dedication. I have decided to make their outfits so I have been working on them. Today I made 2 but they just don’t look PERFECT so I am going to make new ones tomorrow (cause I have so much time to be such a perfectionistSmile with tongue out) !  HA! I laugh just thinking about TIME!!

Any who, back to Halloween 2011!

We started the weekend on Friday planning on going to a Fall party hosted by a local church. Well after about 2 hours of packing & dressing four boys in their costumes (one of which may I say was throwing a FIT!!) We headed out the door already an hour late! By the time we arrived and started unloading our brew there was supposed to be about 30 minutes of the event left. But to our dismay they started packing up the party as we were walking up. Sad smile  So we packed everyone BACK UP and headed home. We called it a practice run that went bad.

I am proud to say the day of Halloween went MUCH smoother; maybe it was because of the practice run Winking smile

We decided to start our Trick or Treating at the Santa Fe Zoo for “Boo at the Zoo”. I was so excited because my Quad stroller arrived just in time for us to use it!

Here is my “boat” all filled with Toy Story characters… Woody and the 3 aliens!

The Zoo was SUPER FUN! They even had a little Toy Story section set up so the children fit right in.

After the zoo we headed to Publix to trick or treat through the store.

We managed to go through the entire store and have time to swing through Little Cesar's for a $5 pizza “yum” and make it home in time to feed the babies before we trick or treated through the neighborhood! Woo hooo!! Let me hear a cheer for US!!! That is a feat in itself!

Here are my sweet alien trio again. Since it was a bit chilly they stayed home and helped (“aka napped) Nana & Papa hand out candy to the trick or treaters.

Jake, Ross, & Drake

Willie had the best time Trick or Treating with his cousins AB and W his Uncle Devin brought his 4-wheeler and a trailer and pulled us all around the neighborhood! Willie LOVED ALL the candy or as he says “nandy”.

When we got back home there were still lots of children going around the neighborhood William & Willie helped Papa & Grandma hand out candy. They had to keep reminding Willie to give the candy to the kids not take candy from them. He is too cute!

Here is a picture of Willie with his Nana & Papa

This was before ALL the candy! By the end of the night he was wound UP! He could barely sit still for a picture with his Nandy!

I would have to say this was the BEST Halloween EVER!! I just know the upcoming holidays are going to be so MUCH fun!!

Triplets 2 Month Update!

The month of October marked the boy’s 2 month birthday! There were LOTS of milestones met this month!

First the boys ALL broke 8 pounds! Second the boys came in home in car beds. They look like little casserole dishes that you strap in you car. It allows the baby to lay down to make it easier to breathe.

Here is Jake in his car bed…

The boys took a car seat challenge on September 9 and Ross & Jake passed. The test to be able to not have to sit in the car bed, the baby has to sit in their car seat for an entire hour with a little reader attached to their toe that measures their oxygen levels. Well it took 3 tests, BUT Drake finally passed the test this past month.

Now that he has passed his car seat challenge all 3 boys can sit together in the back row of the car; SO MUCH EASIER!!

The boys have started holding their heads up, playing with their toys in their bouncy seats, and smiling this month.

I am so excited about all the big changes that they are going through. I can’t believe they are almost 3 months old. They are growing so fast.

Here are a few random pictures…

This is what it looks like when I take the boys to the Dr.:

How many babies can you fit in 1 stroller?

I am SURE this is NOT approved by the stroller manufacturer! Ha!
